AN ACTUAL EXAMPLE · A PRACTICAL GUIDE

Tiny Desk AI corgi case study: from portrait to pet concert

One clear cat or dog photo supplies the lead pet’s appearance for an original desk-side band. This walkthrough uses our existing public corgi example, made from an AI-created portrait into a pet concert with generated audio. Compare the input and result before deciding whether this style suits your pet.

Input: an original AI-created corgi portrait

The original AI-created corgi portrait used as this example’s input
Source: an original fictional corgi portrait previously created for the site owner’s GenBay project and reused with permission for this Tiny Desk AI example. It is neither a customer upload nor a photograph of a real pet.

Output: the actual generated pet concert

Actual file: 12.05 seconds, 720×1280, H.264 MP4 with AAC audio. Generated on October 26, 2026. The player starts muted; unmute to hear the audio.

How to make your own cat or dog concert

  1. 1. Choose a clear single-pet photo

Use a photo you have permission to use, with an unobstructed face and visible body. Avoid group photos, darkness and cropped ears. The single corgi portrait here gives the model a clear subject, but this AI-created input does not prove that every real pet photo will work equally well.

  2. 2. Review the preset and cost on the homepage

Open the creator, add your photo and confirm permission. The only preset is a cat-and-dog desk concert targeting 12 seconds, 720p and 9:16 for 200 credits. No prompt writing is needed: it prepares an original scene, then generates movement and audio.

  3. 3. Use credits and follow the task

Upload the required photos and confirm permission, then use your own email to buy a credit pack. Confirmed payment reserves the credits for this video and starts generation automatically. Existing members can sign in to use their balance. Viewing and downloading require verified sign-in with the same purchase email; new users complete email verification and registration first. Follow progress in My creations. Allow time for processing; there is no fixed completion-time promise.

  4. 4. Review, download and share

Play the result and inspect the pet’s appearance, paws, headphones, instruments, camera transitions and audio before downloading the MP4. Follow your platform’s AI disclosure and music rules. Do not resubmit just because a task is still processing. Confirmed technical failures return the credits; a paid retry never starts automatically.

What the corgi result shows

The recorded visual review identified the lead corgi, headphones, bookshelf stage, red keyboard, joyful close-up and animal sax cutaway. The input guides appearance; the output reconstructs the scene, pose and camera shots rather than preserving every detail. An audio track was confirmed, but the original record did not claim a human listening-quality review.

Provenance, models and limitations

This historical clip used Google Nano Banana 2 for scene preparation and ByteDance Seedance 1.5 Pro for video and audio through fal. The current production preset uses these models through Apimart. Keeping the old example does not mean the current purchase-to-generation flow was tested for this guide.

This is one selected example, not a success-rate study. Fur, paws, headphones, instruments, mouth movement, motion and camera transitions can vary. A 12-second target does not guarantee a file of exactly 12.00 seconds.

Audio is generated with the video. It does not include the original Outstanding recording, clone an artist’s voice or replace a person in real concert footage. Tiny Desk AI is not affiliated with or endorsed by NPR, Tiny Desk Concerts, the artists or their record labels.

Private photos and creations are not automatically published as examples. Check the homepage and Pricing for current purchase and generation availability. This guide is not a new purchase or generation test.
